Valentine's cards!

Just some cute and simple Valentine's Day cards.
I didn't work on Valentine's Day and I had made about 20 of these monster cards. I played around with colors and number of eyes. They are super simple and cute. Then I took the boys to my work and passed them around. They had a blast. They loved going around to my coworkers and giving them a special treat.

Red Velvet Cards

These cards were made from a kit I purchased from paper wishes. I loved working with it. I was working on these around Christmas time. They do have a Christmas time feel without being all holiday.

Christmas Cards

I had made a lot of cards and I was getting burned out. So by Christmas I was not making too many more. Plus my cricut needed a new blade and new mats and I didn't have the money to buy them. I made others but apparently didn't photograph them.

Fall cards 2

Cards cards and more cards.
This top set was made from a one sheet wonder pattern. It really should not be called one sheet wonder because I used one full sheet then quite a few scraps and a couple sheets of solid colors. Anyways. It was ok. But next time I will come up with my own version.
This one. I seriously had my scraps in a pile and ended up almost in this set up. Though it was cute so I kept it.
The last of my cricut thanks giving cards with a few scraps.
I didn't make very many Christmas cards and the few that I did make we're not very impressive. I didn't take photos of those. That ok. See you next week with some cute winter cards.

Fall Cards

I know it's February but I am behind in my posts. I have scrapped a bit but not much. I will post those once I am done with my card posts.
This first one left overs from some pages I made. Now that I see them, the stamp that says so many of your smiles begin with you would make some great Valentine's day cards and Mother's Day cards too. Need to dig that one out.
This next kit was from close to my heart. I know it's a spring look but I needed a birthday card and thus was cute.

This was also a kit from Close to My Heart. The first set is how the kit said to do the cards.
These three were taken from Pinterest.
Halloween was creeping up so I made lots. I was having fun with my Cricut!

They were simple to make but time consuming. Lots of times to go through the circut.
Melissa loaned me the cute owl stamp and I just loved using it! I had to hand cut it but it was worth it
I got tired of working so hard on cards so I made some simple ones.
I was busy making cards almost every night. I really wanted to have a lot for people during the holidays. These last two were also made on the cricut.
Hope you enjoyed the cards and that they inspire you to create.

Embossed cards

Even though embossing is time consuming I wanted to keep doing it.
The balloon shaped card I made for a graduate. Inside it said reach did the starts. Well since I had to cricut some pieces anyways I made extra for miles for Mason fundraiser.
These are the last two embossed cards. I had enough. :)
Then I had a card kit. It was quick and easy to make some Valentine cards.
These are just random cards. I was going for quantity over quality. Some are cute alms are kind of plain.
Real simple cards but the word bubbles are chipboard.
I of course started having fun with the speech bubbles. So I made some little ones. It was great because lots of my coworkers bough the little cards and we're leaving them for each other.
Really made my day to see them pass those out.
Check back soon for more fun cards as I am not get ready to get back to scrapping. Just need a break. The holidays were tough at my house. My five year old had to be hospitalized and presents stolen along with my husbands wallet. Our furnace stopped working on a weekend we had -30 windchill weather. So I had some tough times and having to recoup from that. Maybe at the end of next month we will get caugh up with our back bills. It is looking up though.
 Have a great day!

Miles for Mason cards

I had some round cards and I really wanted to use them. I think they turned out really cute.
I bough some new supplies and started embossing. It is time consuming to emboss but it was nice to make cards that had some texture.
So I made some more.

These are so cute because on the inside there is a cute little apple. It's about the size of a thumbprint.
Super cute!
Then I was asked why not make cards in Spanish. Spanish is my first language and have many relatives and friends that speak Spanish. I don't have any stamps in Spanish though. So I made these with individual letters.
