This one is for you Paulette!

This post is all thanks to Paulette. She has helped me through some down times and shared my good times. She is a wonderful person. Paulette, I hope you like them. This first layout was actually copied from a friend of mine. You can find her here
She is a wonderfully talented lady. As you know I journal....a lot. So I made this and had no photos, just journaling. She also taught me to make my layout stretch just a little farther by using flip flaps.

Preschool Memories 3 of 3

I have finally finished Maverick's preschool scrapbook. Sure took longer than I though. I love it though.  Here are the last few pages.

What's next for me? I of course have two scrapbooks I am working on at the same time. One of them is the brothers 8x8 predesigned scrapbook. Then my normal chronological scrapbook. So I am going to do one amazing page with flip flaps for my regular scrapbook. Then I will be starting my 8x8 brothers book. See you soon...ish

PreSchool Memories 2 of 3

For those of you that don't like when I do predesigned pages I am almost done with this scrapbook then I will go back to doing my normal pages. Next year though; I do have a brothers scrapbook I am going to be making (8x8) that will be predesigned pages. So those that like my pages regardless of what I use then I will be posting often!

PreSchool Memories

I decided to use a scrapbook that had already been designed for my sons first year of school. I was hoping this would mean it would take me less time to finish it. I also hoped this would be for preschool and kindergarten but I take too many photos and two years in one scrapbook just wasn't going to happen. So here are the first few pages. Enjoy
Predesigned scrapbooks tend to be simpler design while still looking nice.

I have some journaling on the actual layout. This can be easily read when the drawings are slid out.

 I added pockets to both of the pages on this layout. I wanted to add some artwork to the scrapbook without putting each drawing on the layout. Here I am showing the artwork 'packet' being removed so the journaling can be seeing. Along with some more of Mavericks works of art :)

Finally a new layout!! Not very happy with the layout because I tried putting too much on it. But its done and I am not changing it!

Croptoberfest

I haven't been scrapbooking much lately. At least not as much as I used to back when I started this blog. Lots of stuff going on that was making it hard for me to scrap. Some personal issues and some financial issues making my life very stressful. So today I made myself finish this layout and get back into scrapbooking. Hope to be posting again VERY soon!

The photos are not the greatest but I like the way these two layouts turned out! Hope you like them also
