Fun Cards

This came from a card kit. I just copied these.
I think there where three of each of these. I still had supplies left though. Not paper but the washi tape(gold dots)and the blue glimmer tape. The stamp set is a cricut cut so those were easy to remake.
Again it was the same exact card but I changed the colors. They look amazing!
This next set was pieces from a card night that hadn't been made. I had no idea what the original card was supposed to be so I just made it up. Then I had some funny saying to go inside. Thanks Roxxy for the fun sayings!
I have more but I think that's enough for one day. I am heading to bed. Full day tomorrow getting the boys to school and me to work. Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Cards, cards and more cards!

Over the summer I became involved with a fundraiser called Miles for Mason. We are raising funds to help cure Angleman Syndrome. For more information or to donate visit cureangelman.com. This is the second year of the event (I didn't become involved until the second year) and through various fundraisers we have raised $16,000!!! All the money goes towards researching the cure. Clinical trial start next year!!
One of the things I did to help raise money was donate greeting cards. I have some friends who do a monthly card night in which we exchange cards. I asked them for any unused cards they had. I never imagined that my friends and I would donate 700 greeting cards. They are sitting at my work available for sale to raise money for the cure. I make cards about once a week to keep them fresh. We have sold hundreds of cards!
Since I have been making cards regularly I haven't been scrapping as much. So it's time I show you what I have been making.
I found these on Pinterest. Such a great and simple card. The whole paper is lightly patterned and yes those are bandaids that I stamped a heart on. Super crumple and cute!
I made this on index cards. More of a grunge look.
Here I made some really simple cards. I was trying to make a big bunch to have available at the event. Once a year we hold Miles for Mason. It's a family fun day. Games, food, silent auction, raffle. It is amazing! Hope you enjoy these cards and that you learned a little about Anglemans.

Love My Cricut!!!

This first layout was made at my consultants house. Lovely!
Lovely butterfly cutout was made on the cricut.
This next layout I made myself. Really simple layout. The cricut piece just makes this layout. I just cut it into four pieces and glued them to make it look like it was bigger.

What the Buzz is All About!

Some more lovely layouts. Great stories in these two pages. I really enjoy "looking back" as I do my layouts. Would love to be caugh up in my scrapbooking but that won't happen any time soon.
And last but not least. A simple journaling layout.
See you next week!

What A Hoot!

Now that I am not making cards for the fundraiser I was involved with I have more time to scrapbook. I am mostly using layouts I had made previously with my consultant Diane. She is amazingly talented. These two layouts were made with her assistance. Yeah I pretty min copied them!
This last layout input together. It's kind of plain but the creative memories kit this came with didn't have much for me to work with. I also didn't want to get my cricut out. Ah well. It's done.
I love using these great layouts. I just get so much done! I already put in the work now I get to use them and make a great scrapbook!

Do You Cut Your Pictures?

I don't normally cut my photos. I crop them but only into square or rectangular shapes. I have cut them into circles or other shapes but they are few and far between. This one layout I cut the first one because I had a duplicate and was wondering if it would work. It did kind of look nice so I cut the other one. Not a good idea. I ended up cutting his smile and the layout isn't as good. Of course I am still keeping it. My scrapbooks are kind of like gifts to my boys. When they are older they will have many scrapbooks of their family. Not just photos in a computer. Memories preserved. Handwritten notes of their lives. I enjoy making them. It is stress reliever and peaceful, most of the time. ;)
At my scrapbooking club we often make layouts that are a little more girly. This one is more neutral colored. It has lovely flowers. Great choice for photos of my mom and myself with the boys.

Love This!

Let's start off with a fantastic layout I stole from Pinterest. I love Pinterest! It is addictive though so I try not to go unless I have a specific need.
This next one is kind of plain but it has a flip flap for a hidden story and picture.
This next two layouts are from the same set of papers. Made at my friend Diane's home. She is my close to my heart consultant.
This second layout also has a flip flap. It's really cute paper and boys make these layouts super cute!
See you soon!

Brotherly Love Part 5

This finishes my 8x8 scrapbook. Really enjoyed working on smaller pages. Honestly though I would get more photos in these pages so I am going to have to make another one soon. This one covered the first two years my boys had together. Need another two to cover the next three years! Not going to do that for a while though. Maybe a year. I have lots of other scrapping to get done. Lots other goals before I do the next brotherly love scrapbook. Hope you enjoyed it!
This one is fun. A friend gave me these leaves. They almost look like they are made out of wood. Very thin wood. I just love how they look!
The end.

Brotherly love part 4

I finished these layouts months ago. Really though I had posted them but realized that I hadn't. Here are some more.

Last but definitely not least. A layout about shoes. Seriously! I loved the button borders. It's a simple layout but cute. Love how my boys take care of each other.

Scrap Crazy

I had a fundraising event and took a month off scrapping to make greeting cards. Hundreds of greeting cards. My friends and I donated 700 greeting cards to FAST. A foundation dedicated to help cure Angleman Syndrome. We are so close curing this! Clinical trials begin 2016! If you are interested in learning more look for us on Facebook under the group Miles for Mason. You can donate at www.cureangelman.org
Thanks
Today I needed to add more pages to my scrapbook. I figured the magic number was 28 pages per book. That's 28 two page layouts. I came up with this by  dividing the number of pages I had left by the number of scrapbooks I had left. Not looking forward to having to buy more scrapbooks. Not ready for that with the new company. I kind of stepped away from creative memories and their bankruptcy stuff. Just wasn't dependable. I purchas supplies through heritage makers. It's expensive though. I mostly buy tape runners. The paper is all cardstock, while that is nice it is way too much money. Plus it makes my albums way too thick. Most of my papers now come from close to my heart. I love the ideas they provide with every one of their kits. It also helps to have a great consultant!
So I added pages to finish the album I was working on and a whole new one. There was soooo much trash! It's done now though. I have tomorrow off and I am ready to scrap. See you tomorrow with a great layout!

I Just Love You

I love these two layouts. The colors are not normally what I use but they look good. I tend to be use more brightly colored papers so these are a nice change.
This photo is on a flip flap. There is a hidden story underneath!

This is my end page. I had no good photos so I just tried to make a nice looking page.

More pre made layouts!

This first one is simple. The same layout on both pages. It was not fun to glue each letter down though.
I love the swirls on this page!
This one has that rare photo of me!

More great layouts.

These three layouts were all made at Diane's house. http://superstampingdivadi.blogspot.com/?m=1
I have many more coming. Love having worked for years and having all these ready to go! Yay! I am really feeling accomplished getting all these layouts done so fast! I already put hours of work into these. Now it's time to add photos. A little journaling and done!
