Sometimes Everything Works Perfectly!

Once a month I scrapbook with a friend. She sells close to my heart products. I love going to her home to scrapbook because she does amazing work. Here is her website: http://superstampingdivadi.blogspot.com/?m=1
You can purchase a $10 paper kit and make multiple layouts. This is one of those layouts. We make the layouts without photos. Well I have a lot of finished layouts and have decided it is time to start using them. This layout is perfect. Looks like it was made just for the photos I had.
The title says "in love with today"
Perfect layout for perfect photos.
Hope to see you tomorrow!!

Not Every Layout Needs to be a Masterpiece

Yes you can spend hours making every single layout but then you won't be making very many of them. I know most people are "behind" on their scrapbooking. I scrapbook chronologically and I am four years behind. I haven't done any scrapbooking from when I was young. I have scrapbooked since my boys were born and that is what is most important to me. That my boys have scrapbooks. Here are two layouts that are good but might not look amazing. Hope you like them.
I love my cricut pieces on this layout.

This layout I used scraps on. The pattern that was cutout on the cricut was left of the paper after the middle was cut out for another layout. I just had to trim it up a little and it was great! The second page was just left over pieces from another layout. I didn't even cut them I just arranged them with my photos.
See you tomorrow with a great layout!

Tetris / Lego layout

Months ago I scrapped a page using scraps. When I was making that it felt like I was playing Tetris. Then I didn't look at my photos for months. The next set of photos where from the same day at the same location but with my other child. So I decided to make the same layout again. As I was making this though. All I could think about was my boys Legos. The paper I used had little dots. As I cut the pieces it was like I had little Lego pieces. Hope this inspires you to make a layout with your scraps. Good luck!

Edit: apparently when I tried to publish this last week it didn't actually work. I went in today and it was just sitting there. Never hurts to double check! I will pay more attention next time.

Post it note gift.

Need a quick gift for someone special? The first time I made these for my son's teacher for teacher appreciation week. They are cute and simple. You need one 4x6 piece of decorated paper or just use a photo! You need a 4x12 strip of paper and some adhesive. I made the two on the side and a friend made the one in the middle and she added a photo! How gorgeous is that?
First take you 4x12 and fold it in half. Then take one of those halves and for it in half again. Here is how it looks with the post it note on the bottom. Glue that post it note.
Take your4x6 printed paper or photo and glue it on the bottom of the flat only.
The top will be lose so that you can see the decoration as shown on the first picture. Then you can close it and mail it flat.

Simple journaling layout.

I am at a scrapbooking retreat so I am getting a lot of work done. I am also able to blog my wonderful pages again. My phone doesn't like my computer so if I take a picture from my phone I wasn't able to upload to my blog. Well I discovered the blogger app and I can now post from my phone! So expect more from me!
Here is a great simple layout! I used the creative memories kit enchanted. Those of you who scrapped with creative memories and now heritage makers know that they sell journaling cards. There are way too many cards for how I scrapbook. So now I am trying to use those cards. Like the "Tetris" layout yesterday. You can make with scraps or use some journaling cards! If you don't journal like I do. Just add some pictures to your layout. I just love writing my children's stories.

Tetris Layout!

When I was making this. And cutting all those little pieces. I just felt like I was playing Tetris. This is a really easy layout for using your scraps! I actually used journaling cards. Creative Memories (now Heritage Makers) papers come with journaling cards. Way too many cards in my opinion. I won't ever use them all! So I took five cards of different colors and cut them up. Three pictures at 4x5 each on each page. They don't line up perfectly but you can't easily tell. I just love this layout!

Everyday Moments

Here are two cute layouts. Very simple pages but super cute!
